The StarTech.com SFP-10G-ER-ST provides 10GbE optical connectivity for compatible Cisco switches and routers with supported SFP+ ports. Using 10GBASE-ER signalling over single-mode fiber at 1550nm, it supports link distances up to 40km under appropriate link conditions.
