The Cisco Q112-LR4-400G Optical Transceiver Module is a high-performance, long-reach optical solution designed for 400 Gigabit Ethernet (400GbE) applications. Built in the QSFP112 form factor, it enables ultra-high bandwidth connectivity for data centers, enterprise networks, and telecom infrastructures.
This module uses CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology to transmit data over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 10 km, making it ideal for inter-building and metro data center connections.
It converts 4 × 100G PAM4 electrical signals into optical signals and multiplexes them onto a single fiber pair, ensuring efficient, high-speed data transmission with low latency and power consumption.
