The Cisco NM-1E is a modular Ethernet network interface card that is compatible with various Cisco router models. This module enables Ethernet connectivity via a single 10Base-T or AUI (Attachment Unit Interface) port. It provides essential network interfaces for environments where low-to-medium throughput is needed. The NM-1E module supports the addition of Ethernet connectivity to Cisco routers in a simple, plug-and-play manner.

1 x 10Base-T Ethernet port (RJ-45 connector) or AUI (DB-15 connector) for Ethernet connections.
Auto-sensing between 10Base-T and AUI, simplifying setup and ensuring compatibility with legacy devices.
Half-duplex operation by default on all versions of Cisco IOS.
Full-duplex operation is supported starting from Cisco IOS 12.0(4)T or later, offering higher performance where supported by the network.
Compatible with Cisco 2600, 2600XM, 3620, 3640, 3631, 3660, 2691, 3725, and 3745 series routers.
Supported by Cisco IOS versions 11.2(4)XA, 11.2(5)P, 11.3, 11.3T, and all 12.x versions.
