Product Overview:

The Cisco 4G Fibre Channel SFP DWDM Transceiver – C-Band is a high-density, long-range optical transceiver designed for enterprise-class storage networks and wavelength-specific DWDM deployments. Operating across C-band ITU channels (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing), this transceiver enables transmission of multiple 4Gbps Fibre Channel signals over a single optical fiber, drastically maximizing network capacity and fiber efficiency.
With a transmission range of up to 80 kilometers over single-mode fiber (SMF), and support for Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM), this hot-swappable LC-based module is ideal for long-haul metro and data center interconnect (DCI) applications. Compatible with Cisco switches and routers, and fully MSA-compliant, this is a scalable, future-proof solution for expanding fiber channel infrastructure.
